Driveway & Patio Cleaning

Your driveway is the first thing anyone sees. We make it the best thing they see.

The detail

Block paving and patio slabs are porous. Rain, leaf fall and shade feed a slow build-up of algae, moss and black spotting that dulls the colour until the whole drive looks a decade older than it is. Sealing it in with a stiff brush and a garden hose does nothing — it has to come out under pressure.

We work the surface with a rotary flat-surface cleaner, which keeps the lance at a fixed height and a fixed speed. That gives you an even finish edge to edge with no zebra striping, and no divots blown into the jointing. Edges, kerbs, steps and awkward corners get finished by hand with a lance so nothing is left half-done.

Once the surface is clean we brush fresh kiln-dried sand back into the joints on block paving. That's the step most people skip, and it's the one that keeps the blocks locked together and slows the weeds coming back.

FAQs

Driveways and patios — the common questions

Anything else, just ask. We would rather answer ten questions than have you book something that isn't right for your property.

How long does a driveway take?

Most domestic drives are a half-day job. Larger drives, or ones that have never been cleaned, can run to a full day. We will tell you which when we quote — we would rather over-estimate than rush the finish.

Will the pressure damage my block paving?

Not when it is done properly. The risk with paving is a careless operator holding a turbo nozzle too close and stripping the face off the block. We use a rotary surface cleaner at a controlled height and step the pressure down for softer stone like Indian sandstone.

Do I need to be home?

Only to point us at an outside tap and show us where things are. After that you are welcome to head out — we will send you photos when it is done.
