Blastoise Cleaning was set up on a simple idea: most exterior cleaning damage is caused by someone using too much pressure on the wrong surface, because it's quicker. We'd rather take the extra hour.

Our story
Started because too many jobs were being done badly
Every exterior cleaner has seen the same three things. A driveway striped like a zebra crossing because someone waved a turbo nozzle at it. A render wall pitted and shadowed because it was jet washed instead of softwashed. A roof with half the granular finish blown off the tiles in the name of a quick clean.
All three happen for the same reason: pressure is fast, and doing it properly is slower. We built Blastoise around the slower option. Rotary cleaners on paving so the finish is even. Softwash on render and roofs so nothing gets eroded. Pole systems on gutters so nothing leans against your fascias.
The name is a bit of fun, but the standard behind it isn't. Water at the right pressure, in the right place, with someone who has thought about what they're pointing it at.
How we work
Straightforward, start to finish
We quote honestly. If a surface won't come up well — badly spalled concrete, a roof that's past cleaning, decking that needs replacing rather than washing — we tell you before you spend money, not after.
We protect what's around the job. Planting gets sheeted and watered. Furniture gets moved. Windows and doors get rinsed down. The area gets left tidier than we found it.
We show our work. Photos before and after on every job, including the parts you can't see from the ground. If you're not happy with something, tell us and we'll come back.
We're self-sufficient. Our own water tank and generator, so we can work on an empty property or one with the supply off.

The right method for the surface
Rotary pressure on block paving, softwash on render, hand scraping on a roof. Using one machine for everything is how surfaces get ruined — we match the method to what we are cleaning.
Fixed price, quoted up front
You get a written price before we start and that is the price you pay. No hourly rates creeping up, no extras invented halfway through the job.
Careful around your property
Windows, planting, garden furniture and pets get thought about before the water goes on. Everything is sheeted or moved and the whole area is rinsed down before we pack up.
Treatments that actually last
Anyone can make a surface look clean for a fortnight. Biocide treatments kill the growth at the root so you get years, not weeks.
We turn up when we say
You get a day and a time slot, and a message if anything changes. Exterior cleaning is weather-dependent — you will hear from us rather than wonder.

Before and after shots sent over when we finish, including the bits you cannot see from the ground. If it is not right, tell us and we will come back.
