Anyone can hire a jet wash. Knowing when not to use one is what separates a clean house from an expensive repair.
The right method for the surface
Rotary pressure on block paving, softwash on render, hand scraping on a roof. Using one machine for everything is how surfaces get ruined — we match the method to what we are cleaning.

Windows, planting, garden furniture and pets get thought about before the water goes on. Everything is sheeted or moved and the whole area is rinsed down before we pack up.

Anyone can make a surface look clean for a fortnight. Biocide treatments kill the growth at the root so you get years, not weeks.

You get a day and a time slot, and a message if anything changes. Exterior cleaning is weather-dependent — you will hear from us rather than wonder.

Ask us anythingDo you need to use my water and electricity?
No. We carry our own water tank and run our own generator, so we can work on a property with the supply turned off. If you are happy for us to use an outside tap it saves a little time, but it is never a requirement.
What does it cost?
It depends on the surface, the size and how bad it has got — quoting exterior cleaning off a price list is how people end up disappointed. Send over a couple of photos and rough dimensions and you will get a fixed written price back, with no obligation.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain is not a problem for most jet washing. Heavy rain, high wind or a hard frost will stop softwashing and roof work, and in that case we will move you to the next available slot rather than do a job that will not come out right.
Is high pressure safe on everything?
Definitely not, and that is the whole point. Block paving and concrete take pressure well. Render, painted walls, roof tiles, decking and older stone do not — those get softwashed or hand-worked instead. If a company offers to jet wash your render, walk away.
How long do the results last?
On a jet-washed driveway you are looking at one to three years before it needs doing again, depending on shade and tree cover. Add a biocide treatment and you push that out considerably. Softwashed render and treated roofs typically hold for several years.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes — forecourts, car parks, communal paths, cladding and shop fronts. We can work early mornings or out of hours so we are not in the way of your customers.
